The process would always work out until I clicked on "download the full version of 3.5.1" and then I would always get an internal search engine from UMAX and a message saying that the file I was seeking doesn't exist. But you can also often get the Drivers from the Manufacturers web site. & WinXP comes with some drivers for some versions of some scanners, but w98 has hardly any Scanner Drivers built in. ....
